Now that the holidays have come and gone and winter is in full force in South Orange, Third and Valley residents may be finding that they’re still in need of a new winter coat, ski boots, hats and gloves or other necessary items to keep warm.

Orange Avenue which is about five blocks from your Third and Valley apartment, does exactly what its name describes – they sell designer clothes for a fraction of the price. At this shop, you’ll find clothing by Donna Vinci, Chancelle, Tally Taylor and more.

Retail Therapy, located on the second floor of 75 South Orange Avenue which is three blocks from your Third and Valley apartment, sells current and vintage women’s clothing on consignment. The store, which opened about one year ago, is owned by Julie Perlow-Greene, a former clinical psychologist turned stylist, hence the name of the trendy shop.

2 Great Kids, located at 301 Irvington Avenue which is about half a mile from your Third and Valley apartment, is great for if you’re looking for some winter gear for your little ones. The upscale consignment shop buys, sells and trades clothing for kids, so it’s also ideal if your children have recently grown out of their old winter coats.
