Pumpkin Picking in North Jersey

New Jersey’s peak pumpkin season runs until October 20th. Pick-your-own apple and pumpkin farms are plentiful in New Jersey, but each offers something a bit different. Some have rides; others elaborate corn mazes. Check out our list below for some ideas about where to enjoy a beautiful fall day.

Farms View – Pick your own pumpkins throughout October. For $9.00 Farms View offers a fun way for families and friends in northern New Jersey to experience the fall season in one of the most best-loved traditions! Enjoy a hayride to the pumpkin field and pick your own pumpkin while you enjoy complimentary refreshments and donuts. They also have a farm market so you can pick up fresh non-GMO produce and pies.

Norz Hill Farm – Pumpkin picking, hayrides, and mazes are all part of the fall fun at Norz Hill.  During the weekends until the end of October, you can come out to Norz Hill Farm and pick pumpkins, gourds and squash. They grow 75 different varieties planted in over 45 acres.  Their five-acre corn maze, which has a new design each season, is also why adults enjoy this farm.

Demarest Farms – Voted one of the best places to pick apples in America, this is one most well-known farms in New Jersey.  They are open every weekend until November and you’ll want to check out their farm store which has fresh baked pies, ice cream, fresh vegetable, donuts, soups and jellies.
